I was just surfing the internet and read the report of the flying triangle sighting, Wednesday Sept. 28, 1994, De5wsbery. I had a very similar experience and believe it to be one of the major sightings and would like to report it in the interest of perhaps others who saw this object could collaborate the sighting.
It happened the week of Aug. 17, 1996, on U.S. 36 in North Eastern Kansas, around 1:00 am. I don’t remember the exact day, it was either a Friday or Saturday evening.
While driving west on US 36, after seeing a bunch of stange flashing strobe lights that I thought were radio tower markers, a large triangular shaped object with large round white lights at the apexes approached and hovered above my car as I was driving at 45 miles per hour. The large dark paneled object had incredible acceleration, approaching from the front, then reversing direction as it hovered above my car. I didn’t see aliens but I was terribly frightened and thought that I was about to be abducted. I seemed to receive a telepathic message that the aliens were coming to explore our planet, and that our earth is just a small member of the other planets with life in the universe that the aliens were exploring. Also had the telepathic message that while the aliens were incredibly technically advanced, they still suffered from many of the same problems of life on earth, arguing countries, wars, political differences. Later that week I heard news reports of other strange objects being sighted in NW Missouri and that Scott Air Force Base Near St. Louis Missouri had been contacted by concerened citizens.
